Summer House Interiors are here to support you from initial concept to completion. We can design a single room, or guide you through a full house renovation. Our team have extensive experience in residential design, so we can help you with spatial planning, lighting layouts, recommendation of products and advice on final finishes. Our aim is to alleviate the pressure off you and deliver an unrivalled quality of service and build. We can either work alongside your chosen builder or provide our own team of trusted tradesmen.
Our simplified process below takes you through each stage; from the initial consultation, right through to a complete install.
1. Getting to know you Our recently refurbished showroom is a great place to find inspiration or discuss your new project with us initially. We will chat through how you use and live in the space currently; the practicality of our designs are just as important as the aesthetics. We encourage all of our clients to send over any Pinterest boards, screenshots from Instagram, magazine cut outs or anything you might have collected that’ll help us see your vision.
2. Site Survey Usually the next step is a site visit, to take dimensions of the room(s) and see the space within its wider context. Not only will a site survey allow us to take accurate measurements, it will enable us to see your own sense of style and aid the design process.
3. The exciting part Following a site survey, we will produce high quality 3D designs to help you visualise the new space. You’ll be invited back into our showroom to discuss layouts, estimates, time schedules and details.
4. Developing the Design Based on your feedback from this meeting, we will develop the design further and work with any budget constraints you may have, narrow down specific material choices/finishes and finalise on the layout.
5. Installation If you’ve chosen to use our installation service, we will be on hand to help throughout. We regularly keep in touch with our install teams to make sure the job is running smoothly.
6. Post Installation Once the install is complete, we can style the newly renovated rooms and even provide a costing for the items used, so your new space is ready to live in. We’re proud of each installation and design, so if its ok with you, we like to take professional pictures of the new spaces to share with future clients, and for you to share with friends.
Our 3D designs are something we’re proud of. CAD systems allow us to produce high quality, life-like imagery to help you visualise your new space. Whether you’re knocking through into another room or extending an existing space, we can create designs right from the planning stage.
